English as an Additional Language
Welcome newcomers!
Learn English speaking, listening, reading, and writing in our classes.
We have free classes from Beginner to Advanced levels.
We have 1-1 tutoring, too.
Our students come from many countries, and range in age from 18 to over 90 years of age.
We can help you to get a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Placement Test from LENS so we know which class is best for you.
Our teachers can assess your listening, speaking, reading and writing. We are recognized by the Nova Scotia government and we can help you get the language certificate you need when you apply for Canadian citizenship, through PENS.
This program is funded by the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration.
The wait time for English classes is usually six weeks or less.
